Hi. What to pack will vary a lot - depending on the patient, hospital, time of year, ... I actually packed a lot - and didn't have any regrets. No, I didn't use everything, but I was glad I was prepared, just in case I needed something.

Here is a list of items to consider ...

You are not allowing a child have sweets? Its like a reward. Its his path of life not yours, and you shouldn't pressure him with foods as such. Yes, you should keep your children healthy, but don't mess up their fun and lives! It is disgusting not to allow a child to talk to gay guys, that's extremely homophobic of you!

I suggest you give him a break and lets kids be kids.
References :
The CAMERA is the most important thing in my opinion :]

I felt so sweaty after, but I didn't want to leave my son to take a shower, so I ended up giving myself a quick sponge bath in the sink lol..So next birth I am probably going to bring those shower wipes. But really you don't need much...you don't pay attention what you brought after the birth, just your new baby!

I brought so much stuff and it was a pain to put it all away when we came home, so try not to bring too much :]
References :
i do bodybuilding and my dad is an ex pro bodybuilder.

and i believe what you are doing is cruel, if you want your son to be a body builder, let him only train if he wants to you may find as a pushy parent thinking you know whats best for him, is going to damage both your relationships with each other, and he may well grow to hate you etc, and for this i am not going to give you on any advice apart from you will damage his muscles fitness and general health, your child is still growing and his muscles aren't fully developed and will cause problems in the future.

yes they are children who are bodybuilders and have there own personal trainers but the majority of those children develop damaged minds and bodies.

i urge you to put off forcing your child from activities probably talking on dead ears but it wait until he is older e.g 15 or 16. then get him to start bodybuilding you will find he will like and enjoy it more and his muscles will develop much greater than they would if he was younger.

i started body building when i was 15 out of my own accord due to the fact my dad was but i also did boxing and running. and won my first Competition when i was around 16 yrs. and love it.

my father never forced me or hinted to me about doing it he just asked me if i wanted to do it and i said yes.

so please wait until he is older
References :
In my opinion the most important would be:

*toothbrush
*hair brush
*toothpaste
*nursing bra if you plan to breastfeed
*nursing pads in case your breasts start leaking while you are there
*socks (maybe slippers if you like)
*a comfy outfit for you to wear home
*a going home outfit for baby
*car seat of course
*a blanket or 2 to cover baby with when leaving
*camera if you plan to take pictures

The hospitals here give provide the diapers, wipes, formula, and blankets for your baby during your stay. They provide shampoo, body wash, and lotion here too. They also give you the new manual medela breast pump to keep if you breastfeed. I don't know what your hospital will provide you with, but you could call them and ask what they provide to the patients with a standard stay, that way you know what you really won't need. They usually provide pads after the births in most if not all places too. Good luck!
References :
mom of 2 and #3 on the way
